Just Sayin' by StampinUP

The first card was made by demo Brenda C. from MN.  (Leadership Swap)  She used the Stamp Set called Just Sayin' with the matching Word Bubbles Framelit Dies.  Brenda also used the Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder.  Color Scheme:  Sahara Sand, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, and White

The next card was on a display board in Orlando so I have no idea who to give credit to for that one.  The Argyle Embossing Folder was used to texture a pc. of Brushed Silver CS.  A pc. of Back to Black DSP was also used for the left hand side.  Sorry for the blurry picture but I must have liked the card display!!

Just an FYI.......I'm attempting to put together a Facebook Page for my StampinUP Business.  Please ck that out if you frequent FB.  I will be posting some cards and additional information other than what I post on my blog (hopefully, if I can figure that out & with time permitting of course).  I do have another full-time job although this is WAY more fun!   :)

Thanks for visiting my blog.  I post daily here.  Lori Helvick

Embossing Folders- Decorative Dots & Spring Flowers

The 2 cards today have a common theme going......they both have backgrounds that were textured with the Big Shot and 2 of StampinUP s ever-popular embossing folders.

The first card was made by my friend and downline Bonnie.  She used the "Decorative Dots" folder and the Butterflies Thinlits Die.  Bonnie also used some of the Designer Series Paper called Back to Black.  Color Scheme:  Black, White, Real Red and Brushed Silver CS for the Circle.

I made the 2nd card for a class project.  DON'T LIVE CLOSE TO CENTRAL IL, BUT WOULD LIKE TO MAKE MY CLASS PROJECTS?  Please contact me at:  stampinfool2006@yahoo.com
for details about getting "KITS TO GO".

Anyway, the 2nd card sample features the "Spring Flowers" Embossing Folder from the Occasions Mini.  I also used the Petal Potpourri stamp set, mini stapler, and some Best Year Ever DSP (Sale A Bration).  Color Scheme:  Sahara Sand, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and White.

Thanks much for blogging with me.  Lori

"BEES IN YOUR BONNET LOYALTY REWARDS"I’m excited to introduce a new Customer Reward program for all my loyal and returning customers. Beginning on January 1st, 2015 you will earn "bees for your bonnet" with every $40 purchase you make. (We raise our own honey bees in case you are wondering about this program title.)

Here are all the details:

You will earn one "bee" for every $40 in StampinUP product that you order from me (before tax and shipping).
  • You cannot combine orders to get a "bee". For example, if you order $79, you get only one "bee"and leftover amount does not carry over. So, a $39.95 order or less will NOT qualify for any bees, a $49.95 order will qualify for 1 bee, and an order of $80.95 (before tax & shipping) will qualify for 2 bees.
  • Did you know that honey never goes bad or spoils? The same goes for the "bees" that you earn in this program. They will never expire! I will still honor this free gift promotion no matter how long it takes to "fill your bonnet".
  • All orders must be placed thru Lori Helvick-StampinUP Demonstrator. In person, phone, e-mail and yes even on-line do it yourself orders will count towards this promotion. Please remember to enter your contact information when placing an online order yourself though. If I receive info from SU about an order placed as a "NO CONTACT", there will be no way for me to give you credit for that order in this program. (Please contact me if you have questions about this).
  • I will track all bees in your bonnet for you….. and the magic number is 10 (TEN). Once you have reached this many bees, you will receive your free thank you gift from me! You will get to choose any item in the catalog up to $40 value for FREE.
  • It does not matter where you live in the United States, you can participate. You can e-mail me to order things for you, or order online yourself, and have the order shipped directly to you.
  • Orders that include product from the Clearance Rack and the Weekly StampinUP Deals will quality for this program. Hostess items will not be available for your free product. (sorry)
  • If you are a club member, and place regular orders for that, this program will still apply as long as you order the $40 amount and not the regular club requirement amount. Also, I have been giving free classes to local gals if they place an order for a certain amount. (If this effects you, please ask me about the new rules on that).
  • Once you earn your free $40 StampinUP Item, and you let me know what you would like, please allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery after the order is placed.
  • Please note that this reward program is being offered by me, Lori Helvick, and not StampinUP. Terms and conditions subject to change.

Best. Day. Ever. by SU

Today, as promised, I have some pics to share from my vacation (cruise to Hawaii).  Just like the card swap I'm posting below, every day on our trip was the "Best. Day. Ever." !!

If I had to pick the best day of our trip, I would be really conflicted :)  So, I won't even try to pick but just tell you we had a FABULOUS time.  Please see below each picture for a brief description.  I have to say, coming back to cold IL was not very popular with the 4 of us gals after spending 11 days in 80 plus degrees!!  Yea, I know.......too bad for us right? LOL

Anyway, the card sample was made by Julie Salva, SU Demo at Leadership.  Please let me know if you have any questions on this very simple project.

Enjoy the vac pics, and check back tomorrow for a few more.  (I will not bore you with these everyday so no worries there).  Thanks for stopping by.......Lori Helvick

Leaving on a VERY big plane to fly into Honolulu.  My sister & me
in the back.  Penny S. and Jenny T. in the front.  Not looking
forward to the long plane ride but we knew that was the
                                                                 only way to paradise!!

Wrong date on the picture (sorry).  Nice batch of bananas
we saw on a hike thru Waterfalls and Rainforest areas.

Part of the same excursion mentioned above.  The waterfalls were
just beautiful.  This was on the island of Maui.

We arrived on the ship Feb. 14th and of course recd

I'm Back....and Stampin UP For Peeps' Sake

Hello all......did you miss me?   I have been gone on vacation in fabulous HAWAII.  (more about that in tomorrow's post).

Right now I wanted to get back in the swing of blog posting while showing you a swap I recd at Leadership.  Sorry, I have no idea who made this project.

The stamp set called "For Peeps' Sake" was used (pg. 34 in Occasions).  Sweet Taffy Designer series paper was also used.  The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies is the main item though for this project.  You can view that on page 9 in the Occasions Mini.

Thanks for popping in today, and I apologize for being MIA for awhile.  I had a very good reason though right?  Check back tomorrow for some Hawaii pics!  (sidenote- no, unfortunately I did NOT earn the StampinUP incentive trip).  This vacation was totally funded by yours truly!! Work Of Art and Pinwheels

The 2 cards today both came from StampinUP Leadership in Orlando last week.  The first one was in a friends swap pile I believe, and the 2nd was on a display board.

The blue card features one of the images from "Work Of Art" and also the "Hello You Thinlets Die" from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The colors used are Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz and Vanilla.

Real Red, Sahara Sand, and White are the colors used for the 2nd card.  I'm pretty sure this was made from pcs. and parts of an older Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Please ck out the ad below about getting a prescription with Paper Pumpkin on a monthly basis. Let me know if you have any questions.

A long time ago I cancelled my personal P.P. Kit but I just started it back up yesterday actually.  StampinUP has REALLY improved the Paper Pumpkin concept a lot, and I saw some super cute ones at Leadership!!

Thanks for blogging with me.  Lori
