See A Silhouhette Designer Series Paper (2 simple cards using scraps) !!

I used thick white card stock for both of these cards.

Daffodil Delight CS was used behind the 4 pcs. of DSP

(See A Silhouette from the Annual Catalog)

The 1 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch was used for the greeting.

(from the "Modern Heart" stamp set)

So Saffron Cardstock was used for the sentiment on this card.

I made my own little tassle from Navy Bakers Twine

(Country Club Twine Combo Pack- Mini Catalog)

The Pretty Label Punch was used for the sentiment.

(from the "Here's A Card" stamp set)

Butterfly Wishes from the Annual Catalog is NOT Retiring......Check out this Featured Card!!

Color Combo for my card today includes:

Vanilla, Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, Soft Sea Foam

I used the "thumping" technique on the small butterflies.

Here is what you do for that:

--Use Coastal Cabana ink pad & stamp off one time to make

the ink lighter but don't stamp image for real yet.

--Then you take a Calypso Coral Stampin Write Marker &

thump little spots on top of the Cabana ink.

--NOW, you can stamp "for real" & the butterflies show

up with 2-tone coloring. Cool huh?

THIS OR THAT-- WHICH DO YOU PREFER? (Play along, for a chance to win one of these cards)......

I cased this design from Brian King.

Wanted to play the "This or That" game, so switched

up colors a bit and made 2 similar cards.

Both have a vellum overlay on top of the flower paper

which comes from the "See A Silhouette" pack.

THIS has Blackberry Bliss and Crushed Curry for colors

(and of course white)

THAT has Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight for colors

and white too-- but did not do a white layer on top of the card base

like the other card has.

I used the Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut out the vellum cardstock.

Both flowers were "fussy cut" from the designer paper.

The bottom card "thank you" comes from Beautifully Braided.

"Happy Birthday" comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Positive Thoughts Stamp Set from the StampinUP 2020 Mini Catalog......

This was one of the last class projects I featured

BEFORE all this virus stuff happened and I have not

had a class since!! I miss seeing everyone & stampin' it up!!

Anyway, for this card I used the following colors:

Vanilla, Black, Melon Mambo & Old Olive

All the stamping was done on a 2nd top layer & adhered

to the vanilla card base. EASY PEASY!!

Card Making Series: S - U Switcharoo #3 (Video today features So Sentimental & First Frost)

My "Switcharoo" project for this week features the

So Sentimental Bundle from pg. 20 in the SU Mini Catalog.

I used 2 of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly set on that page.

Color Combo Includes:

Very Vanilla, Grapefruit Grove, Crumb Cake, & Call Me Clover

Along with the So Sentimental Bundle, I used the First Frost stamp

set and matching Frosted Bouquet Dies.

A couple of embellishments used consist of Gold Metallic Pearls

and 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (Grapefruit Grove).

What do you think of the S - U Switcharoo concept?

(this is my 3rd Sat. in a row!!)

I cased the green card & made it with different colors & stamps.

I'm pleased with the results this week.

See A Silhouette Designer Paper Makes 11 Cards Thanks to "Double Wonder" Idea from Shannon West......

A couple weeks ago Shannon West from the home

office put on a "virtual" stamping class for some of us demos on FB.

We could follow along (which I did) and make cards with her......SO FUN!!

She put on a class similar to a "One Sheet Wonder" concept.

Instead of one full sheet of designer paper though, she wanted us to use

2 sheets. We cut those into halfs at 6 in. x 12 in.

So we used ONE full sheet total--but 2 separate halfs which left

us with 4 different designs (back & front). Hope this makes sense!!

I decided to use the See A Silhouette paper from the Annual Catalog

and I'm SO glad I did!! I love how these 11 cards turned out!!

I used a couple different ribbons to complete my cards.

--3/8" Real Red Cotton Ribbon

--3/8" Denim Ribbon

I used the Pretty Label Punch on some & a couple

circle punches on a few as well. My card base colors were

according to the colors used in the designer paper pack.

These cards were super simple & fun too!!

Card Making Series: S - U Switcharoo #2 (Video today features Timeless Tropical)

Its Saturday, and time for another S - U Switcharoo

video!! I created this card using the Timeless Tropical set

from the Mini Catalog.

My cased inspiration for today came from pg. 86

in the Annual Catalog. The color combo remains the same

and I switched the stamped images to make it my own : )

Monthly Blog Waddle w/ Stampin Stray Ducklings-- Theme: Mothers Day or Spring (Magnolia Lane Designer Paper Featured Here)......

I SHARE MY PASSION FOR STAMPS, INK & PAPER WITH A SPECIAL FLOCK OF LADIES CALLED THE "STRAY DUCKLINGS". WHENEVER WE'RE TOGETHER, FEATHERS FLY BECAUSE OF ALL THE FUN WE HAVE!!

These 3 cards are part of my "One Sheet Wonder" class I did a few

months ago. All 3 say SPRING to me, and the one with the 3

squares (left side) will be the Mothers Day card for my Mom.

For this card I used the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder &

the 5/8 in. Petal Pink Ribbon.

This "Hello" card features the Layered Leaves 3D

Embossing Folder and White Bakers Twine.

On the inside of this card, it says Happy Birthday

which goes along with Enjoy Today.

The flower was stamped with the Good Morning

Magnolia stamp set & colored with Stampin' Blends.

On all 3 cards, the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper was used.

The class I had used a template to cut up one sheet

of this BEAUTIFUL paper, and then we made 12 cards from

the one sheet. Hence the name ONE SHEET WONDER!!

Paper Pumpkin Alternate Cards x 2 (March 2020 Kit by StampinUP)
