Baby Card with "Animal Outing" & "Twinkle Twinkle" Designer Series Paper

I needed to make a baby card for my new great niece (in Florida).

Thought that the kangaroo image from the "Animal Outing" set would work!

Color Combo: Petal Pink, Gray Granite, White

I wish I could have found an image with smaller stars, but I used

the ones I had (from "Better Together").

Also, on the inside I stamped the sentiment
"Congratulations on your new arrival" from the same set.

Now, if you take a look on pg. 115 in the catalog, you

will see a card that has a similar layout to mine above!!

It is SO FUN to pick a project out of the book, and "tweek" the

colors and stamps to make it your own : )

"Floral Frames" Bundle--StampinUP Annual Catalog (pg. 135).....Wishing You The Best

For this card I used the vines from "Banners For You" (pg. 64).

I stamped tone on tone & also stamped the darker color green on the white square.

On top of the darker green vines, I added some die cuts from the

"Foliage Frame" Framelits.

I stamped the flower images on Powder Pink Card Stock

using Melon Mambo Ink. The "Foliage Frame" Dies helped with those too.

Color Combo: Soft Sea Foam, Melon Mambo, Call Me Clover, Powder Pink, White

I took a picture with a top view so you can see the front is shorter.

I cut off maybe 1 inch from the front right side so vines will show from inside.

"Rooted In Nature" (StampinUP) Makes a Great Masculine Thank You!

Color Palette today includes the following:

Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide, Crumb Cake, Vanilla

I stamped the tree images from "Rooted In Nature" on

a pc. of vanilla card stock, & then cut into 3 equal sections

and layered them (spread apart a bit) onto crumb cake paper.

Also, I used Crumb Cake ribbon with a "True Gentleman Button".

I added some frayed Linen Thread as you can see in the photo.

The Classic Label Punch was used with both a vanilla & navy layer.

I used a Crumb Cake Marker to pick up only the words "Thank You"

from one of the sentiments in the set.

"Stitched All Around" Bundle by StampinUP (pg. 17- Annual Catalog)

For my card sample today I used the following StampinUP Colors:
Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Berry Burst, Black & White

--1 3/4 Circle Punch
--Stitched Labels Framelits
--Stitched All Around Stamp Set
--Mint Macaron Marker

Please take note of the 3 rows of stitching at the top of the berry burst paper.
(I had fun playing with the dies from this bundle).

Also, I used one of the dies to cut out the stamped circle image.
Then I used the circle punch to cut a layer of black card stock to show
through from behind the white die cut piece.

We made this very summer-season card at a recent class.

Fun, Whimsical, & BRAND NEW Stamp Set-- "Animal Outing" by StampinUP!

This was a recent class project & I thought it turned out pretty well.

I used watercolor paper to stamp the rhino image & colored with Stampin' Blends.

The middle green layer was embossed 2 different directions with

the "Simple Stripes" Embossing Folder.

Color Combo: Lemon Lime Twist, Black, White, & Call Me Clover.

For those who don't know my oldest son got married in Seattle

the end of April. (I posted some pics shortly after).

Anyway, for a variety of reasons the only 2 members

representing the Lievens side of the family were myself, of course,

and my sister Val who lives near St. Louis.

Last week a friend shared this picture with me so

I wanted to share with all of you.

Another "Rooted In Nature" Card & "In Every Season" Stamp Set Featured Here

I made this card with the "Rooted In Nature" Set (no dies this time).

Simply stamped the 2 leaves in Mint Macaron & Cajun Craze.

I used the Circle Framelit Dies & the sentiment comes from this set also.

Embellishments include the True Gentleman Buttons & Linen Thread.

Yes, this designer paper is retired-- but I wanted to use Berry Burst

and it fit the bill for this particular card project.

The flower image comes from "In Every Season" (brand new).

The small thank you was cut out using the Bunch of Banners Framelits.
