Brand New Stamp Set-- Hello Ladybug w/ Matching Ladybug Builder Punch

I enjoyed playing with some new StampinUP products the other day.  This black, red, & vanilla card includes the following SU products:

For this creation, I used the same designer paper and stamp set I mentioned above.  Completely different look huh?  If you have a copy of the January thru June Mini Catalog, you can see the ladybug set and punch on pg. 20.  The featured DSP used on both cards can be found in the Sale-A-Bration booklet on page 4.

Senior Years Stamp Set by StampinUP Used Today On a Birthday Card.....

 

This is a very simple creation using the following color combo.....

Gray Granite, Cherry Cobbler, Black, White (plus various Stamping Blends for coloring)

I just "eye-balled" it when I stamped all the happy birthdays, but you could always use the Stamparatus tool, if it makes you feel more comfortable.  (I tend to wing it a lot)!!  lol

Inside Pop-Up Fancy Fold Card Featuring Forever Fern Stamp Set & Dies

 

I realized I had not posted this class project yet from a couple months ago.  (Inspiration for the fancy fold part came from demo Julie Davison).  Color Combo includes:  Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, and White.  (the bow was made from retired StampinUP ribbon)

 The inside of the card is a Mini Designer Paper "Explosion". It's so fun to open the card and see the designer paper "pop up"!  I used a 4" x 4" piece of designer paper and folded in half both directions and then once diagonally. Then fold the sides in so it collapses.  So cool huh?

2 Cards that Feature 2 Different Designer Series Paper by StampinUP

 

The GORGEOUS paper on this card comes from the Expressions In Ink pack (Annual Catalog-pg. 131).  Gold Foil paper was used to cut out the big die from the Artistic Die set.   Gilded Gems from StampinUP were used to go along with the gold scheme.  "Hello" comes from the Artistically Inked stamp set (pg. 97).

Though I made this card, it was designed by Sheryl D. of Morton IL.  We had a "Shoebox Swap" in November so a few of us demos got to make each others projects during that event.  Very fun!!

  

For that same demo swap event I mentioned above, this was the project I contributed.  It was a very quick and easy card for the gals to make that evening.  Color combo includes:  Black, Vanilla, Basic Gray, and Petal Pink.

 On this creation today, I used Mossy Meadow for the card base, PLUS one more layer which I put through the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.  Other colors used are White, Pear Pizzazz, Bumblebee and Soft Suede (ink).

Creative Fold Card and Beautiful Candy Box-- both for Christmas Inspiration!!

This was a class project a couple months ago.  The Corner Pocket Fold layout is easy to make.  I used the following StampinUP products on this creation:

--Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set

--Gingerbread & Peppermint 6 x 6 Paper

--Red Rhinestones

--White Crinkled Seam Binding

--Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes

This is a view from above.  I used dimensionals under the triangle pc. of designer paper so the square white pc. of paper would fit nicely when tucked inside.

 

 

 

 When the card is opened up and flat, it looked like this.  I used Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Real Red, and White for my Color Combo.

 

 This AWESOME 3D project was made by my demo friend Kim Baker of Hennepin, IL.  She used the Scalloped Contours Dies and some Whimsy & Wonder designer paper (just to mention a few StampinUP items).  Kim put candy in this cute box, and passed out at our Nov. virtual event some of us demos attended at a Peoria area hotel.  We had a very fun couple of days together!!

A Couple Cool Cards that Feature the StampinUP Blending Brushes!!

For this masculine "camo-looking" card, we used the Bokeh Technique at a recent card class.  Color combo includes:  Evening Evergreen, Gray Granite, Soft Suede

StampinUP Supplies used include:

--Linen Thread

--Stitched Rectangle Dies

--Symmetrical Stems Border Punch

--Nature's Beauty Stamp Set

--Blending Brushes

As I mentioned, 4 different blending brushes were used here with 4 different ink colors (old olive, crushed curry, pumpkin pie, cajun craze)

The Daisy Garden big background stamp was used with Memento Black Ink before I colored the rainbow pattern with blending brushes.

It's pretty easy to apply ink with those brushes once you get past a slight "learning curve" !!

Monthly Blog Waddle w/ Stampin Stray Ducklings-- Theme: Annual Catalog Products (Plentiful Plants Bundle Featured Here)......

 

 

I SHARE MY PASSION FOR STAMPS, INK & PAPER WITH A SPECIAL FLOCK OF LADIES CALLED THE "STAMPIN STRAY DUCKLINGS".  WHENEVER WE'RE TOGETHER, FEATHERS FLY BECAUSE OF ALL THE FUN WE HAVE!!

 

 

 This is a Fabulous Fun Fold!!  (looks fabulous & was fun to make--smile)

The Bloom Where You're Planted Suite was used. (pgs 80 & 81 in the Annual Catalog).  I love this sentiment in the set that says "To A Dear Friend".  I used the Messages Dies to cut out the sentiment.  One of the Paper Lattice products shown with the suite was cut in half for the front and the inside.

A Little Note With The Biggest Thanks was stamped inside BEFORE I ran that part thru the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. 

 

Here is a birds eye view where the 2 pcs of brick designer paper show nicely.  That comes from the Bloom Where You're Planted 12 x 12 pack.  

 I really love the In Color Cinnamon Cider-- what about you?  Just Jade was used briefly with the plant and the words on the front.

Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper from StampinUP Used for 2 Birthday Cards.....

 

 These very simple Birthday Cards use the same StampinUP products and color scheme.

Colors Include:  Misty Moonlight, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, White

Of course my favorite designer paper was used (Hand-Penned) along with the Double Oval Punch.  The card bases were embossed using the Ornate Floral 3D folder.  The sentiment with very lovely font, comes from the Welcoming Woods stamp set (pg. 46- holiday catalog)

Expressions In Ink Designer Paper used w/ Fall Leaves on a Card Project-- Say What??

 

This is kind of a different combination, but I really like how my card turned out.  So, I used the Expressions In Ink 12 x 12 paper from the Annual Catalog.  (4 different pcs. to be exact which includes decorating the envelope as well).

I used the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and the Intricate Leaves dies from pg. 47 in the Holiday Catalog.  The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Welcoming Woods (pg. 46).

What do you think of this fall Birthday card with different colors & paper?  Hope you like it- and are inspired to use a little "out of the box" colors, stamps, and paper of your own.

This card was a class project a couple months back I think.  I LOVE the sentiment that comes from a retired set (unfortunately) but its still a good one.  The Designer Paper is the Harvest Meadow pack from the current Holiday Catalog.  I used the Christmas Season Stamp Set and matching Seasonal Labels Dies.  (pg. 18- Holiday Catalog)  The Label Me Lovely Punch from the Annual Catalog was used to punch out the sentiment.

I mentioned the sentiment above for a reason......."So Grateful For Someone Like You In My Life".  My older sister Debbie passed away in Phoenix on Dec. 1st.  Just got home from a whirlwind trip out there and I miss her terribly already.  Although, I'm very sad of course, I'm truly grateful for all the "growing up" years we had together.  My sister Val and I found this lovely picture of Deb taken in her early 30's.  She was 63 when she passed after battling a long illness, but I will always remember this younger & more beautiful version shown above (and yes, those curls are natural).  REST IN PEACE DEBBIE.  I LOVE YOU SIS!!
