FUN MAIL!! Part 3-- (Sharing the Hand-Stamped Cards I Recd for my Birthday)

This lovely fall card was made by Alice P. of Galesburg IL. She used the Gilded Autumn Suite shown on pages 44-46 in the Holiday Catalog.  The designer paper features some Gold Foil and some Copper Foil patterns in the package-- such pretty paper for fall.

Ardith P. of London Mills, IL made this card.  A past Paper Pumpkin Kit is featured here.  This kit was from a few years ago and StampinUP has really made a large variety of ideas over the years!

They call this a "Slim-line" card & its all the rage on pinterest etc.  This birthday card was made by Connie B. of Glasford, IL

A friend and stamper who recently moved to Springfield made this card-- Jan P.  She knows I love cats so this card is just "purr-fect" for me!

Last but not least this vintage looking card was made by Phyllis D. of Peoria, IL.  She used the Very Versailles stamp set from pg. 114 in the Annual Catalog.  The Subtle embossing folder was also used for the background.

This fun fold "H" card was made by Karen F. of Peoria IL

Although this tropical paper from SU is retired, it WAS one of my favorites!!

I love the greens and pinks together on this creation  : )

 

                                                                        

Made by Sue B. of Normal IL  (on a side note--the movie w/ Candace Cameron Bure called "Finding Normal" is super cute, if you ever get a chance to watch it) !!  I know thats random, but its how my 60 year old mind works these days -- oh, & isn't this a pretty card? (smile)

And this beauty was made by Kim B. of Hennepin IL.  The flower comes from the Painted Poppies stamp set.  Kim colored the Metallic Silver Edge (White) Ribbon with a Stampin Blend to make it green!!  She also used the Subtle Embossing Folder.

 

This very special card was made by my 9 year old "Birthday Buddy"  Harper from Washington, IL.  She used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies along with the Playing With Patterns DSP.  

 

            Of course, the inside of the card is signed & decorated by Harper.  Her Grandma, Bonnie (and     my friend) told me she has been making cards since about age 3 so she has 6 years of stamping experience under her belt already-- so awesome!!                 

This card was made by Jenny T. of Galesburg IL.  She used the Forever Fern stamp set with a beautiful fall color palette.  There is an oval layer of vellum under the sentiment oval.  Thanks my friend for thinking of me on my Birthday!

I always love a tropical card, & this one was made by Lynn F. of Galesburg IL.  She used a past Paper Pumpkin kit for her creation.  If you want to switch up the ideas that come in the kits, feel free!!  For an experienced stamper, its always more fun (if time allows) to make your own alternate designs  : )

Rainbow Glimmer Paper by StampinUP is Featured on Todays Card Creation.......

I liked the simplicity of this card & its cased from Pinterest  : ) 

(sorry- do not remember who designer was)

The Color Combo consists of Coastal Cabana and White Card Stock.

 The beautiful paper on the right is the Rainbow Glimmer Paper from the Annual Catalog.  I used the sentiment from the Borders Abound stamp set.

Both the left and right edges of the white card stock were cut with the Ornate Borders Dies.

A very simple card with some glimmer and SO fun to make!!

Beauty Abounds Stamp Set & Playing With Patterns Designer Paper

 

This is a very simple fun fold to accomplish.  Just fold your card in half

like normal and then fold the card front in half.  

(equates to score lines at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4)

 

I used Night of Navy Ink and Coastal Cabana Card Stock along

with White of course!

 The Playing With Patterns 6 x 6 Designer Paper goes great with

the circles on the front of this card, I think.

The circle images and the "thanks" inside come from the

Beauty Abounds stamp set.

 

                   

      When the card is all closed up for mailing, it looks like this.  What do you think?

• This card layout came from friend and fellow demo Nancy Legate.
• Simply take one pc. of designer paper and cut 2 diagonal cuts so you end up with 4 pcs. of paper.
• Flip 2 opposite pcs. over to show the contrasting front and back paper designs.
• Thats the beauty of the 2 sided DSP from StampinUP, right?  Love this very simple way to feature both sides on one card!!
