A Couple Cards Featuring Plentiful Plants and Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Sets

For this class project, I used the following color combo:

White, Gray Granite, Just Jade, Evening Evergreen & Cinnamon Cider

Still Enjoying Flowers From Shaded Summer & Other StampinUP Sets.....

This pretty flower card features a rainbow of color! I started out with a thick pc. of white for the card base. The Pool Party pc. on the left, was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder. Other StampinUP products used include:

--Shaded Summer Stamp Set

--3 Colors of StampinWrite Markers

--White Bakers Twine

I did not make this beautiful card. A fellow Stampin Stray Duckling did though, for a group card swap we had a few months back. I'm sorry I don't remember who to give the credit to! The Pansy Patch stamp set was used along with the Pansy Petals Designer Paper.

I made this very simple card for a recent class project. The stunning Expressions In Ink Designer Paper was used. (both the flower pc. & the 2 skinny gold striped pcs.)

The sentiment, flower, and leaves come from the Artistically Inked stamp set. (pg. 97 in the Annual Catalog). I used the coordinating dies also. The above photo does not do this card justice I don't think. Even though it's simple like I said, it really is pretty in person!! Those 3 pcs. of designer paper just wreak with gold shimmer!!

Fancy Fun Fold Christmas Card Featuring the GORGEOUS Peaceful Place Designer Paper

I had a class that was a Holiday Stamp-A-Stack and featured fun folds. This creation was a favorite of my guests!! Here is a list of StampinUP products used:

This is a view from the top of the card when standing upright. Hopefully, you can get the idea of the accordian fold inside the card.

The pc. of designer paper inside was cut 5 1/4 x 10 inches. Just score the paper several times beginning at 2 in., and then 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. This will leave 2 in. on the left and 2 in. on the right side.

Since the designer paper is a dark color, I showed the class attendees how to incorporate a snowflake in the card design that would show your signature on the right side!

Featuring the Hand-Penned Suite of Products on 3 Card Creations Here......

This was a recent class project & a popular one. The gals liked how easy it was to make, and yet all those Hand-Penned products really go beautifully together!!

I used the Hand Penned 12 x 12 Designer Paper (2 pcs.), and Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set on this card. The embellishments are the Playing With Patterns Resin Dots.

Color Combo Includes: White, Mint Macaron, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight

The top card and the one on the right have been featured as blog posts before I know, but was playing around with my new photo light box & used a wooden bowl for more height : )

Cutest Halloween Bundle Featured Here in 2 Simple Cards.....BOO!

For this creation, I used some products from the Cute Halloween Suite (shown on pgs. 50 & 51 in the current Holiday Catalog). The Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Cute Halloween Designer Paper, & Cutest Halloween Stamp Set were very fun to play with here!!

On this card, I used the Halloween Punch in addition to the stamp set mentioned above.

Monthly Blog Waddle w/ Stampin Stray Ducklings-- Theme: Grateful / Thanksgiving (Seasons Blessings Bundle Featured Here)......

For this grateful/thankful card, I used the following color combo:

Cajun Craze, Vanilla, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake

Notice the "shiny" wicker basket/pot? Here is what I did to achieve this look......

I used vanilla card stock, and 3 different colors of ink-- Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, & Early Espresso. With the blending brushes, I started on the bottom of blank card stock & worked my way up to get a little bit of all 3 colors.
Then I cut the basket (just barely enough) to eliminate a few holes and DID NOT poke any more holes out at all.
Added some clear packing tape ON TOP to hold all those holes in place so no more would fall out. Remember, a few blank holes is what I was going for here!!
I just cut the excess packing tape off around the outside of the pot.
Then I added some Espresso ink to the 2 handles of the basket/pot.
Next step was to "fussy cut" an espresso pc. of card stock to go on the BACK so the empty holes would show through with the darker color.
This might seem like a bunch of extra steps BUT I LOVE how this basket turned out after just beginning with plain vanilla card stock!!

3 Pretty Cards Featuring the Gorgeous Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper by StampinUP

Besides the featured designer paper, I used the following StampinUP Products:

--Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder

--Stitched Rectangle Dies

--Sweet Ice Cream stamp set (sentiment)

This was an easy and recent class project. It has very nice colors for fall--

Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade and Garden Green

In addition to the Hand-Penned paper, I used the Penned Flowers Dies and Layering Circle Dies.

Just a tiny strip of the featured Designer Paper adds a lot I think. The flowers and sentiment both come from the Color & Contour stamp set. The scalloped white pc. was cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies. I finished this creation off with a bow using some Fresh Freesia ribbon.
