So today, I cased a card from pg. 84 in the Annual Catalog.

The Ever-Popular Flowers For Every Season Paper Cut At An Angle x 2 Wonderful Pcs. !!

Once you figure out how to cut the bigger pc. of designer paper at an angle, the rest is a pc. of cake!!

The green triangle pc. of Flowers for Every Season was cut with the Stitched Triangle Dies.

I cut an additional sunflower from the paper to "hide my flaws" (smile).

Card Making Series: S - U Switcharoo Video #11 (featuring Monogram Messages by StampinUP)

For my card today, I used So Saffron, Calypso Coral, and White card stock. I used 6 different ink colors to stamp all the images (& hello). This one was fun to make & I "cased" the card shown on page 52 in the Annual Catalog. Its my first time inking up the Monogram Messages set & I think I like it!!

The small notecard in the book caught my eye but made it into a full size card instead. Went with the straight layout instead of crooked and of course switched up some colors!! Forever Fern Stamp Set & Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper by StampinUP

Color Combo for todays card includes:

White, Soft Seafoam, Pretty Peacock, Pear Pizzazz

I stamped random leaves using the Forever Fern stamp set.

There are 2 different patterns here from the Forever Greenery

designer paper pack.

A couple punches were used as well

When the card is opened up, the inside looks like this. I've always liked shades of green, and

By The Dock Stamp Set Featured Here & Me Sitting By The Dock!!

I will start off by saying, I had every intention of working

on my "S-U Switcharoo" card & video since I was

gone the last couple of Saturdays!!

BUT.....I was asked to go fishing not once but TWICE today

so just had to go right? (easy to do when you just walk to the

back of your property) LOL

So, anyway this card uses "By The Dock" (pg. 112- Annual Catalog).

It was actually made a long time ago by fellow demo

and friend, Terese B. I thought this project was good to feature today : )

I have my arms crossed like I'm pouting but

that is not the case since I LOVE FISHING!!

Al is holding a really big bass as the picture shows below.

And yes, the smaller fish was caught by me darn it!!

First thing this morning we went, and ended up putting the

few small ones we caught back in our pond.

Later this afternoon, we had better luck and caught 9 or 10

total including these 2 above.

I assume you make cards, since you are here for a visit

but do YOU like to fish like me??

(my love of fishing was passed on to me from my "Papa"

at a very young age when he would visit us @ our farm on the Spoon River).

This hobby bypassed my Mom unfortunately-- it was not her thing!!

Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set (pg. 8-- Annual StampinUP Catalog)

For this card, I used pieces & parts from the

Gorgeous Posies Project Kit.

The kit projects are just "gorgeous" & of course you

can make as many additional cards as you want by

ordering the stamp set as well as the project kit.

So, for my alternative card I used Bumblebee and

Highland Heather card stock.

I stamped the flower image tone on tone.

The white label, twine, & 2 purple flowers came with the kit.

I added 3 of the Frosted Epoxy Droplets (pg. 156)
