Retiring StampinUP Stamp Set-- Celebrate With Flowers (Annual Catalog pg. 62)

It is very rare to find a vertical sentiment, but I love this "Happy Birthday" from the Celebrate with Flowers set. On this card I also used the Simply Elegant designer paper and Black Twine. The card base is Thick Vanilla, and Real Red was used too. I fussy cut the flower after stamping that separately on a scrap of vanilla card stock.

This creation has the same vertical birthday greeting from the same retiring stamp set (pg. 62 in the current Annual Catalog). I also used the Hello Ladybug set and matching punch. Other StampinUP products include:

2 Cards Featuring the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper by Stampin'UP!

Besides the retiring designer paper, I used the following StampinUP products:

Color Combo includes these "must have" SU colors.....

Vanilla, Basic Gray, Petal Pink and Old Olive

I used Petal Pink again on this card. Also a little Calypso Coral for the butterfly dies and gold foil were used as well. The gorgeous gold decorated paper comes from the Simply Elegant Designer pack. 3 of the cute little Brushed Brass Butterflies are on this card, and I used the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder for the base of the card.

Don't You Just LOVE Designer Series Paper from StampinUP? (my motto is: "You can never have too much DSP")

The little strip of DSP on this card comes from the Pattern Party pack (pg. 171- current Annual Catalog). I also used the Hand-Penned Stamp Set & matching dies. The white pc. of card stock was embossed with the Texture 3D Emboss Folder (retiring). My colors of choice on this creation include: Pool Party, Pale Papaya, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo and White.

For this card, I used 2 different packs of DSP. (Pattern Party and Sweet Talk for the tiny bit of purple stripes). Both the flower image and sentiment come from the Color & Contour stamp set. My color combo consists of: Black, White, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather.

What do you think of the cards today? I just love all of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper from Stampin'UP. Wait until you see all the brand new selections of DSP in the new Annual Catalog!! Remember, my motto above--lol

Shaded Summer Stamp Set (StampinUP) Shown on 2 Card Samples Today!

On this card, I used 3 of the retiring In Colors (Magenta Madness, Just Jade and Bumblebee). The stamps came from Shaded Summer (pg. 75 in the current Annual Catalog). I really like this stamp set w/ the great sentiments, so I'm happy it carried over into the new catalog. AND come May 3rd, we can also get the Summer Shadows Dies to go along with the set--YAY!!

Yes, I did "fussy cut" these flowers!! Like I mentioned, I won't have to do this too much longer because I will be ordering the Summer Shadows Dies when the new catalog starts in May : )

Horizontal vs Vertical Layout-- Which One Do You Like the Best?

For both of these cards I used the following SU products:

2 Cards Today Featuring the Easter Friends Stamp Set by StampinUP

I used the masking technique on this card to add Balmy Blue Ink for the sky around the bunny. A blending blush was great for this look (love them!!) The Easter Friends set has a grassy image so used that of course with Garden Green Ink. Here are a few more StampinUP items used:

I used the same featured stamp set on this card but different critters of course than the bunny above. No need for coloring here since I did the stamping on Daffodil Delight card stock. Just added some Pumpkin Pie to the beaks and feet!!

Retiring StampinUP Designer Series Paper--One of my Faves (You're A Peach)

Along with the featured designer paper, I used the Sweet As A Peach stamp set. Color Combo includes Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, and White.

The Artistically Inked Stamp Set and Artistic Dies were both used here with the You're A Peach Designer Paper. That scallop edge die comes from the Scalloped Contours Dies. Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim was used too.

Both Daisy Punch & Medium Daisy Punch Are Featured on 3 Cards Today

For this simple card, besides the mentioned punches, I used Flirty Flamingo Ribbon and Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. The sentiment comes from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. Also, I added 3 Gold Metallic Pearls.

These last 2 creations are very similar with one card vertical and one horizontal. Color combo for both include: Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Misty Moonlight. Besides both sizes of Daisy Punches, I used the following StampinUP products:

On this card, I used both the Symbols of Fortune DSP & Vellum Layering Designs. Other StampinUP products used include:

Critter Cards w/ Cole & Mimi Features In The Wild Designer Paper

As time allows, my grandson Cole & I make "critter" cards together (he is 2 1/2). Anyway, in my private Facebook Group-- Simple Stampin' Creations w/ Lori we do FB live videos when we are able to stamp together. He is SUPER cute, if I do say so myself!!
