Rooted In Nature by StampinUP works out great for all your Fall/Autumn Cards!!

I used several layers of white card stock for this card.

The background on the one white layer is the Pinewood Planks Emboss Folder.

The tree trunk and 2 leaves are images from

the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.

A couple accents on this card include the Linen Thread

and the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper.

Also, there is no need for fussy cutting when we

have the Big Shot, right?

The 2 leaf images were cut out with the

Nature's Roots Framelit Dies.

Making Christmas Bright Stamp Set & Stamp Fair Pics- FUN DAY IN PEORIA, IL

Our Stray Ducklings Group Fall Stamp Fair was held in Peoria yesterday so that is why I have not blogged for a few days. Sorry about that, but I was working on swaps for the event as well as cards for display boards.

Some Halloween Inspiration w/ the Cauldron Bubble Bundle & Spooky Sweets Bundle

Both these cards were on display & made by unknown

Dashing Deer from StampinUP (with Alcohol Marker Marbling)

I tried several times to get a better picture of my card & it was not working!!

On the left side, glossy white cardstock was used so the "shiny" pc. was the problem.

At any rate, I used 3 different colors of Stampin' Blends for a technique @ class.

I have instructions for the "Alcohol Marker Marbling" if you are interested in that.

Let me know please..... and this card is much prettier in person : )

Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set and Starlight Thinlit Dies by StampinUP

This card swap was made by Laurie S. of Galesburg, IL

She participated in our last demo swap at our Peoria mtg.

I do not have the Spirited Snowmen Stamp Set but its definitely a cute one!

Here is another card swap made by Twila M. of Galesburg, IL

The sentiment comes from the Star of Light Stamp Set.

Twila also used the matching Starlight Dies to cut out the big star.

Thanks very much to both of these gals for their inspiration.
