Designer Series Paper Steals the Show on These 2 Hand Stamped Cards......

On this card, I colored the ribbon with a Calypso Coral Stampin Blend. I used Stampin Write Markers to "color" the butterfly image two-tone before stamping. The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle was used on this creation as well.

The Flowers For Every Season 6 x 6 paper was used on this creation. The card base is Basic Gray and I used the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon.

This post is short and sweet today (sorry). I am super tired and ready for bed so thats where I'm heading!! You know you can ask any questions if you are curious about something that I did not cover. Will have better luck thinking and remembering products used when I'm "fresh" lol

Pampered Pets Stamp Set & Pets Die Cuts by StampinUP are Favorites of Mine!

I'm SO happy that the Pampered Pets set and matching dies made their way into the new Annual Catalog!! I'm a lover of dogs and cats, so these 2 items are right up my alley for sure.

The Playful Pets Designer Series Paper said a fond farewell however, but I do have a nice size stash that I will continue to use : ) I like to dip into retired designer paper from time to time for friends & family members who are not customers.

For this creation I used the following Color Combo:

White, Black, Real Red, Smoky Slate

The Stitched Shapes Dies were used along with the Classic Label Punch and the Messages Dies. I also used the Layering Squares Dies.

Lovely You Stamp Set & Lovely Labels Pick a Punch by StampinUP

Hi Stampers!! For this card today I used some cheerful colors-- Granny Apple Green & Mango Melody (with white of course). Both the featured stamp set & punch got carried over to the new Annual Catalog in case you are curious about that. In the current catty, see both items on pg. 22

Easy Fun Fold Card Featuring Black & White True Love Designer Series Paper

Hi Stampers!! I used 4 separate patterns from the True Love Designer Series Paper Pack. The red flowers started out black and white from a piece in the featured DSP. I used Stampin Blends to add the color and then fussy cut the whole flower arrangement to use on my card.

I used this clear block as a paper weight so you could see the card all closed up and ready to put in an envelope. I LOVE how this card creation turned out!!

And just a little "birds eye" view of the finished Z-Fold card layout.

In Good Taste Designer Series Paper is Sticking Around Longer In the New Annual Catalog

BOTH THESE CREATIONS TODAY USE THE SAME COLOR COMBO: ROCOCO ROSE (RETIRING), EARLY ESPRESSO AND VANILLA. ANOTHER COMMON FACTOR IS THE 12 X 12 "IN GOOD TASTE" DESIGNER PAPER. I REALLY LIKE THIS PAPER PACK, AND HAPPY IT WAS CARRIED OVER ANOTHER YEAR. DO YOU HAVE THIS PAPER PACK, AND IF SO DO YOU LIKE IT?

On this card I colored the ribbon with a Stampin Blend (it started out white). The Stitched Shapes Dies were used along with the Tasteful Touches stamp set. I fussy cut that pretty flower after stamping it.

The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle was used here along with the Messages Dies. Oh & that circle was cut with the Layering Circle Dies. I used 2 colors of Stampin Write Markers to add color to image before stamping on vanilla card stock.

Painted Poppies Set by StampinUP is Featured Here Today for 2 Cards......

Black, White, & Red seems to be my "go to" color combo most of the time! This card features Poppy Parade Ink and the bottom card features Real Red (but both are red in color all the same!)

The Painted Poppies Stamp Set, Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, Painted Labels Dies, and the Poppy Moments Dies are all 4 being carried over to the new Annual Catalog.

I used the White Crinkled Seam Binding & colored it red with a Stampin' Blend. The Happy Birthday Sentiment comes from Peaceful Moments that I just mentioned above.

Who Doesn't Love Butterflies on a Card? Brilliant Wings Dies by StampinUP Featured Here.....

Hi Stampers!! How do you feel about butterflies? I LOVE THEM!! I just have to get every one that SU sells, and there have been a lot over the last 22 years fortunately (smile)

This gorgeous butterfly designer paper is retired, but I still needed to show you this bright & cheerful card. Can't remember where the birthday verse comes from- sorry. The single black butterfly was cut using the Brilliant Wings Dies. Look at that detail in the wings!

The embossing folder that I used has tiny, cute butterflies too! It is called Meadow Moments & is shown on pg. 185 in the Annual Catalog. (it did get carried over to the new book as well)

I used the same retired paper here also. "Thank You" comes from the Sweet Strawberry set. The featured dies were used once again. The card base color is Seaside Spray which is a retiring In-Color. Of course this beautiful S.S. Ribbon is retiring as well.

StampinUP Set Called Birds & Branches Used for Todays' Thank You Card.......

Hi stampers!! My color combo includes Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee, White

The Birds & Branches stamp set from the current Annual Catalog was carried over to the new catalog (just an FYI). The bottom right side has a simple torn edge so the stamped image on the inside shows through to the front.

Besides the featured stamps, I used the following StampinUP items:

Monthly Blog Waddle w/ Stampin Stray Ducklings-- Theme: Spring/Mothers Day (Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set Featured Here)......

Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, Punch, Dandy Garden Designer Paper

Fun Z-Fold card to share with you today featuring some products from the Mini Catalog. The Dragonfly Garden set and matching Dragonflies Punch are carried over to the new catalog I'm happy to say : ) Color Combo includes White, Mossy Meadow, and Bumblebee

The 6 x 6 Dandy Garden Designer Paper really adds some fabulous design to this card I think. For the big dragonfly image, I used the Mossy Meadow & Bumblebee Stampin Write Markers to get the 2-toned color effect. All 3 dragonflies were easily punched out with the featured punch shown on page 27 in the current Spring Mini Catalog.

Circle Celebration Stamp Set from Current Mini Catalog DID NOT Carry Over to New Catalog......

Color Combo for this creation includes:

Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, White

FOR BOTH THESE CARDS I USED THE RETIRING SET CALLED CIRCLE CELEBRATION. You can see these stamps on pg. 38 in the current Mini Catalog & don't forget to order this product very soon if you are interested in these stamps!!

I also used the Playing With Patterns Designer Paper from the Annual Catalog. The word "smile" comes from the Lovely You set in the Annual Catalog as well (this set made its way into the new book though- just an FYI).

Along with the featured circle stamps, I used the Classic Label Punch which is retiring. The word "hello" comes from the Quite Curvy Stamp Set which ALSO is retiring and not in the new book!

The chosen colors for this card include: Poppy Parade, Black and White.

Forever Fern Stamp Set by StampinUP & Woven Heirlooms Makes Pretty Sympathy Card

This beauty was made by my friend & fellow demo Debbie K. I love all the different shades of green!! (greens are my faves anyway most of the time)

So, the Forever Fern Stamp Set that Debbie used WILL BE in the new SU Catalog (and the matching dies too of course). The lovely sentiment comes from the Woven Heirlooms set and that WILL NOT be in the new book. (you can check this out on pg. 119 in the current Annual Catalog & decide if you would like to get it before it retires......)

Brilliant Wings Dies, Best Plaid Builder Dies AND Butterfly Bijou DSP

These cards were FUN to make!! All those blue pcs. and parts were cut out from the Best Plaid Builder Die. I made 2 different background designs for the 2 creations.

All 5 of the butterflies were cut from the Butterfly Bijou paper (now retired). The Brilliant Wings Dies are carried over in the new StampinUP catalog as well as the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set.
