By The Bay Designer Paper PLUS the Season of Chic Bundle = a Beautiful Card

I will point out first of all that I used Sahara Sand as my card base and it is RETIRING!!  The featured By The Bay designer series paper was used for those 2 separate pcs. of beauty.

That shell was cut from a pc. of designer paper in the pack also.  The die from Season of Chic Bundle is a perfect match for that!  Also, I used the sentiment from Season of Chic stamp set and that white pc. was cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die.

Fun Fold Friday Night Video #1 -- This is a Shadow Box Card Featuring 2023 Spring Mini Catalog Products

Hi Stampers!!  My color combo for this creation includes:

Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia and White

This is what the inside of my shadow box card looks like. Please watch quick YouTube video below for dimensions and scoring measurements.

Birds eye view shows the opening well for the shadow box area.  You could even use a pc. of Window Sheet for the opening as well.

 

                   

                      

STAMPIN' UP! EASTER BUNNY SET + RETIRING FRESH FREESIA

 

Hello stampers!  This is a great layout to utilize for designer paper.  (I used the retired Dandy Designs from Sale-A-Bration because it has the colors I wanted)   :  )

I simply used Thick White Card Stock for my base and then a layer of Fresh Freesia.  After adding the 3 pcs. of designer paper, I implemented a pretty Fresh Freesia bow as well.

I stamped and colored the critter from the Easter Bunny stamp set.  The die used to cut out the bunny comes from Sentimental Park Dies.  Easy peasy!!

Playing In The Rain Bundle by Stampin'UP Used on 2 Cards Today......

 

I still LOVE this cute little turtle!!  I used Stampin' Blends to color him & the flowers.  Besides the blends, I used the following StampinUP products:

--Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder

--Black Bakers Twine

--Brushed Brass Butterflies

--Stitched Rectangle Dies

--Playing In The Rain Stamp Set

 I used blends again to color the puddles & tiny umbrella.  The fox w/ bigger umbrella came from the Rain or Shine Specialty Paper.  (Playing in the Rain dies cut out that image)

The Raindrops Embossing Folder made the Mossy Meadow card base textured a bit.

Cottage Rose Stamp Set from Stampin'UP Annual Catalog along w/ Masking Paper

 

For this creation today I used White, Black and Mango Melody as my color scheme.  Where those 4 white strips are, I simply covered those with Masking Paper.  I used a Blending Brush to apply the ink and of course when I peeled the Masking Paper off, the white card stock areas were left behind!!

Also, I used the flower image from the Cottage Rose stamp set and stamped that first on the card stock before any of the mango color was added.  I used some more Masking Paper to cut out a flower image with the Cottage Flower Dies.  That cut out pc. was then used to cover my stamped flower so I could add the mango ink all around it.  Peeled off that mask and the flower image was left behind with no color!!

Hope this makes sense, but if you don't understand just ask.  I finished the card off with 3 of the tiny brass butterflies.  I'm sorry but I don't remember which set the small "thank you" came from  :  )
