2 Card Projects Featuring Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper from StampinUP

For this creation, the color combo includes:

Pumpkin Pie, Cinnamon Cider, Cajun Craze, White, So Saffron, Early Espresso

I used the Gold Fine Art Ribbon from the Annual Catalog. (one longer pc. as you can see, and also I pulled some apart to get the threads & made a bow on the leaves).

I made this card for a recent class project. The layout is simple, and you can duplicate it using any designer paper you have in your stash. ( I used the featured designer paper mentioned above).

The Everyday Label Punch was used. The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments set (pg. 24 in the Annual Catalog). This is a fabulous word set if you don't already have it!! I love the pretty font.

Forever Fern Stamp Set & Forever Flourishing Dies Featured on 3 Cards for Fall......

All 3 of these cards have some Pumpkin Pie ink applied to the white card stock layer. I used a Blending Brush to accomplish this. Besides the P. Pie color, I used Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow on these cards as well.

Prior to our recent "On Stage" Event, I recd these 3 postings in an email. It is nice that we get some kudos for all our hard work! Sparkle Of The Season Bundle by StampinUP Featured Today in a Beautiful Card Swap

A fellow Stampin Stray Duckling from Peoria IL (Ronette K.) made this beauty for a demo swap a few months back. It's a perfect card to send a friend or family member this time of year.

On pg. 58 in the current Holiday Catalog, you will find Sparkle of the Season stamp set & Seasonal Swirls Dies. Along with these StampinUP products, Ronette used the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder on her card.

Drybrush Background Stamp, Blending Brush, & Love of Leaves Team Up on this Fall Card

To make these 2 cards, I started with vanilla card stock and a blending brush. Added some Bumblebee Ink all over the paper w/ the brush. Then, I used Crumb Cake to ink up the Drybrush background stamp. Simply stamped that image on top of the yellow color to end up with both colors showing equally. I'm having fun playing with my blending brushes as of late. Do you have any of those in your stamping supplies?

Besides the StampinUP products I already mentioned, I used the Love of Leaves stamp set and Stitched Leaves Dies. Early Espresso Ribbon was used on this creation and I used that same color for the card base.

The leaf colors include: Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Bumblebee and Early Espresso.

Cork Specialty Paper by StampinUP Showcased in 2 Cards Today.......

For this first card, I used just a small strip of the featured cork paper on the left-hand side. Other StampinUP products used include:

This lovely Birthday card was sent to me by Alice P. of Galesburg, IL. Of course she used the Cork Specialty Paper to cut out the frame pc. around the flowers. The Nature's Harvest Bundle was used on this creation (pg. 56- current Holiday Catalog).

You're A Peach Designer Series Paper Featured Here for 2 Cards!!

I used the featured designer paper on this card in 3 different places. The bottom polka dot pc. is one, and the pc. under the Pear Pizzazz card stock is another. For my 3rd place, I simply fussy cut those 3 tiny flowers from some of the featured paper as well. Even though it's fall, I'm still enjoying making cards with some of my most favorite summertime designer series paper!!

This is a different card layout that you could adapt to any ribbon, flowers and punched shapes that you have in your stamping stash! Of course the blue striped paper comes from the You're A Peach designer paper pack : ) For one layer of white, I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Emboss Folder.

Monthly Blog Waddle w/ Stampin Stray Ducklings-- Theme: Christmas & Winter (Frosted Gingerbread Bundle Featured Here)......

This was a super easy class project last month! I used a few products from the current Holiday Catalog (pgs. 8-10). The 6 x 6 Gingerbread & Pepperment designer paper was used for the bottom half of the card and for that smaller strip in the middle. The snowflake image was cut from the same paper pack as well, using the Gingerbread Dies.

The sentiment comes from the Frosted Gingerbread Stamp Set. I finished off the card with 3 red rhinestones from the Annual Catalog. Bingo, Bango, and Done!!

Accordian Fun Fold Featured Today with 2 Christmas Card Swaps!!

This lovely Stray Ducklings card swap was made by Laura R. of Morton IL.

She used the Painted Christmas Suite of products from the Holiday Catalog (pgs. 16-18)

As I mentioned, this is a fun fold project. You can see how both of the separate components fold when closing up the card for mailing.

And here is a birds eye view of how it will fold up also.

This is a list of dimensions for cutting & scoring.

Both of these card swaps use the same measurements.

Today--Card Swaps from a couple Stampin' Stray Duckling Friends........

I belong to a group of Central IL Demonstrators, who call ourselves the Stampin' Stray Ducklings!! A few of us managed to get together a few months back for training & of course, we had a card swap : ) This beautiful Christmas card was made by Kelly I. of Peoria.

One Sheet Wonder & Purse Projects featuring Hand-Penned Products......

Wide assortment of all occasion cards made from one sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Paper. Another sheet of paper was used to make the adorable purse! This will hold about 5 cards and 5 envelopes to give as a gift to someone. This was a recent class, and I think the attendees loved all the different card layouts and well....the purse just speaks for itself!! : )

Red, Black, and White is a fabulous color combo in my opinion. Add in some yellow flowers, and green leaves and it's a win-win!! If you have any questions, please let me know.
