StampinUP Mosaic Madness & Paper Scraps

Are you a scrap collector?  Well, we learned a technique at Late Night Stampers (pre-convention) that would help you use up some of those pcs. of card stock that we tend to "stock pile".

Just tear up your scraps and start adhering them to card stock.  Once you get your desired artwork completed from those annoying little scraps that you "will use someday",  take a versamark pad and ink it up all over.  IMMEDIATELY, and some clear embossing powder and then heat set.  (maybe you should really use 1/2 sheet CS to start with instead of a full sheet like this lady did).

After 1/2 sheet with scraps is all cooled off, simply design your cards with parts of your paper as desired.  I believe this procedure was called Mosaic Faux Tiles.

The designer (who?) used the stamp set called Mosaic Madness on page 123 of the big catalog.  If you choose to stamp random images like (who?) did, just stamp before adding the versamark and powder.  We saw both inked and un-inked pages.

Questions?  Please let me know.  THX-  Lori
